The visual novel is about a young man who finds friends in a seemingly very strange place and under very strange circumstances, as well as his reflections on life, society, and the future. I didn't have the money to hire an artist, so I used AI to create the characters, but the backgrounds in the game are absolutely real places turned into pixels.
